QR Code Tattoo: No Regret

UPDATE 8/9/2011: My tat was recently featured in a video segment on the Alex Jones Show. What a bunch of schmucks. I can assure everyone that my tattoo was not a conspiracy by the government to desensitize people to the idea of barcode tattoos. I just wanted something different and tech related. Video posted below.

Hola, it’s been several months since I posted something, so I figured what better way to break radio silence than by posting a few pictures of my first, and last tattoo.

I just got it two days ago, and I think it’s pretty cool. It’s a QR code, which means “NO REGRET”. If you are unfamiliar with what a QR code is, you can learn about them on the QR code wikipedia page.

The place I was originally going get it done at was closed… and ironically, as it turned out, the name of the tattoo place was called “No Tears, No Regrets”.

The tattoo artist, Patch, doing some of his finest work.

All done!

Close-up.

Sadly, it doesn’t actually scan, but it looks very cool… and as it says, no regret!

  2. That people are that naive, to consider barcoding themselves, is just incredible. Wake up! Once you allow such a thing, don’t you realize what else it can be used for??

  3. Any body who associate the bar code with some evil plot may have a point of sorts but is misguided to think that that is what the mark of the beast or 666, as predicted in Revelation 13 is all about. I think many who believe in end-of-days bible prophecy are taking things a little too far for suggesting that God is going to hold some distaste for some bar code tattooed on your arm or wherever.

While I do not encourage any body to put any tattoo of whatever character on their skin, I believe that the mark of the beast is more than about taking a number or tatoo; it has more to with your loyalty to an evil antichrist system and loyalty to this system is what God will punish people for.
